Hilary and Ashish are just the most easy going parents. They're so passionate about life and art and so when they asked me to take their holiday photographs I suggested the Disney Center & spectacular new Broad museum in DTLA. I had so much fun not only spending time with them but marveling at some of the coolest modern art.

I took a weekend trip up to the Eastern Sierras with my girlfriends. The goal was to climb and summit Mount Whitney. The tallest peak of the connected 48 states at 14,505 Feet high. We hiked up 6 miles up, camped overnight @ 29 degree weather and reached the top @ 8 am the following day. All in all, it was a an amazing opportunity to complete my 3rd Mount Whitney summit in 15 months.

I met this gorgeous family at Los Alamitos Ranch in Long Beach. I had such a wonderful time taking photos of the family. I think the real challenge was carrying a set of twins with my camera at the same time ;) Such a fun afternoon!

Birch Lake, Eastern Sierras. Summer back pack camping trip. 4 thousand feet up in a span of only 5 miles. It almost took me out. Hardest hike I've done so far. It was very memorable to say the least!

Marlynn turned 16 recently and her fun parents decided to have a Sweet 16 for her. It was a massive party full of smiles and great music.

Back in the Fall of 2008 I was unemployed, recovering from a broken heart and feeling a bit lost. I took a risk to explore my ability to feel something different and help along the way. I went to Liberia as a volunteer for a non-profit called The Strongheart House and it really did mend a heart. A life long experience that I'll never forget.

My little peanut is growing up so fast. He's 9 and pitcher for The Blue Jays. Go Evan go! I feel fortunate to get to see him play with the entire Tabullo family on the side lines and camera on hand.

My oldest sis Lourdes is more like mom roll model. I've seen her grow and enjoy her life with her husband Juan for more than 10 years now. They're a great couple with the sweetest intentions and so full of life.

Debbie and Jacob are extraordinary people and together they have made such a beautiful and loving family. Debbie is almost due with their second and I could not be more happy for them. Insanely love them both.

I wanted to experience Mount Whitney again... why not! it's only the highest peak of the connected 48 states. We set out on the first week of October and a beautiful time. Love the eastern Sierras. Love Nature, Love breathing and taking it all in. All photographs were taken on my iPhone.

Oh The Watson Family. I first met Joel a number of years ago working at a production house. Joel is one of those guys that is truly just cool as ice and he has this amazing wife and two adorable kids. We spent a Saturday afternoon running around taking photos. So much fun!
